Recovery  from being raped or indecently assulted during our childhood

is complex and interdisciplinary.

It is NOT a 12 step programme - though  there are steps  but which ones vary

I found I neded to alternate between Pastors and Counsellors and reading 

sometimes it is processing the past and finding a resolution

sometimes praying

sometimes reasoning

sometimes being aware of my felings

sometimes relaxing

sometimes recieving a word in season during a Sermon or message or Hynm or Praise at Church

sometimes I needed  to be a part of a recovery group

recovery could be likened to Solomon's search for wisdom in Ecclesiasties
